Mrs.Sandhya Sharma
Mrs. Sandhya Sharma completed her graduation and post graduation in first division with specialization in Hindi Literature from Agra, she did her Bachelor in Education with first division in specialised practical teaching. She has served as a teacher and assistant superintendent at Dr. Maria Public School, Agra, India and organized various cultural activities locally as well as in other cities of India. She has also served as a Reader at an unique organization i.e. National Institute of Visually Handicapped (NIVH), Dehradun. There she recorded many books on Hindi Sahitya, short stories, plays, text books & an audio magazine for visually handicapped students and people throughout the country. Her services at NIVH are still recognised to familiarise the Hindi literature to the blinds of India. Since 1988 she is continuously serving as a teacher in Kendriya Vidyalayas, of Dehradun and Raiwala, Uttarakhand, India and dedicated her self to teach Hindi to the students. She has been recognised as a teacher who gave consistently 100% result with maximum distinctions to the students of class Xth in Central Board examinations. Besides above subsisted the responsibilities of disciplines, admissions, I/C examination committee and co-curricular activities. She has officiated as a senior most teacher in the New KV, IIP Dehradun. Besides this she has been an active member of Vidyalaya Management Committee of this school and contributed a lot to build a new Kendriya Vidyalaya in Indian Institute of Petroleum Campus Dehradun. Professionally she has qualified senior diploma in Instrumental Music (Tabla) from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad, India.To write short stories, poems, skits etc., in Hindi is her regular activities as well as hobby too.
She has joined Indian Cultural Centre, Paramaribo, Suriname in November 2008 as Hindi Teacher.
Here she is teaching hindi for seven levels i.e. from Prathma (begeinners) to Ratna (Graduate) level.Besides she is also taking grammar & conversation classes,organicing workshops for teachers and a special fortnightly class of " Ramayam"
